Christmas, 60th Birthday, 2nd Birthday, Utah Fun, and 6 Months Old!

Channing celebrated his very first Christmas!

The outfit informs you of that.

No surprise, he just wanted to put everything in his mouth.

After flying to Utah we were tired! Channing wore us out pretty good.
Aubrey was very excited to see Big Josh.

Daddy G turned 60!
We partied!
.
Each family, including Mom, gave him 10 gifts that reminded us of him. It was really fun!

We also gave him a book of pictures of him and the family with a message from every individual including his Mom and Mommy G's Mom. He was really touched. It was awesome!

It is always great to celebrate with Daddy, after all he is the party animal!

It was crazy, noisy, and so much fun!

...just in case.

Whoa! We almost got smoked out!
Just kiddin'

We read facts from 1949 and had toys that were big when he was a kid.
Did you know that
Play-doh entered the market as a wallpaper cleaner? Non-toxic and less messy than regular modeling clay, it was soon recognized that the cleaner made an excellent toy. The innovative product made Joe McVicker a millionaire before his 27th birthday. To date, 700 million pounds of Play-doh have been sold.

Heidi and Nol enjoyed the facts.

Grandpa and the Grandkids celebrating his birthday.

Grandpa and the boys enjoyed Baby Einstein.

The girls saving Channing from his car seat.

Heidi and Nolan bought Josh his very first Cinnabon. It was a tender moment.

There were lots of games.

And you know the Nolan's are there if there is Hold 'em.

We made turtles for the first time and they were delicious!!

Hayley was holding Channing watching Baby Einstein 'Lullaby Time' trying to calm him down for the night when Owen came up and wanted to join the party. They ended up holding hands for most of it. It was one of the sweetest little sights.

New years eve we found Channing asleep on his tummy!

New Years day Josh went snowboarding with Jason, Marci, and Isaac.

They had so much fun!! Isaac did awesome!

Channing had fun too!

2 nights in a row we found him like this and many more nights to follow.

Channing is a crack up! The child will not smile when he sees the camera. He is so interested in the silver contraption that he just stars. Some how we finally got a picture of a smile!

So Channing started doing this facial expression while eating. It was almost like he had the chills. He would pull his little head in, pucker his lips, and shiver. It was so funny!!

Channing was pretty smitten by the wind up car.

Owen turned 2 and we all celebrated!

He loved his gifts!

Adorable Abi

The girls are getting so big! They are over a year now.

Beautiful Bella

Goofy Joshua

Sweet Aubrey

Incredible Isaac

The Birthday boy with his birthday brownies!

Yum!

Aunt Joy, Mommy G, Grandma Nina, & Hayley

Before flying out we got to go to lunch with Dusty and Emmie. Dusty was Josh's mission companion. They came out and saw us in December 2008 in Hawaii where we got to play on the beach. We commemorated by eating at Rumbi Grill, a Hawaiian restaurant chain that is so delicious!

Channing turned 6 months January 11th!

He is 17.6lbs and 27 inches long!
He is talking, gurgling, cooing, and just a chatter box. He is the busiest boy you have ever seen! Always going and on the move.

We are just so in love with him!!

Did you get the sweet potato fries from Rumbi Grill? And, I did not know that about play-doh! Your family did such a great job celebrating your Dad, what a lucky guy! And Channing just keeps getting cuter by the minute! I'm glad we got to witness his "look" when the camera comes out . . . to funny!
