7-10 Weeks: A trip to the ER, an upper G.I. track, an adverse reaction to medication, extreme choking, and chest x-ray later...

We are doing great! Poor little Channing has had quite a hard few weeks. Other than acid reflux we are doing just awesome! We are so blessed to know that nothing else is wrong, most of all nothing that requires surgery.

So happy with some milk in the corner of his mouth.

Channing and Josh just get so excited to see each other and make each other laugh.
It is so precious.

He is so alert and just wants to see and take in everything!

The Wilbur grandkids! From left to right: (Nathan and Jen's) Katelynn and Tyler, (Ben and Alyssa's) Bella, and the newest addition Channing!

This was one of the few pictures we got of him sitting up straight before tumbling over.

We are just so in love with our little prince.

We visited Heidi and Nolan over the weekend and went to Oceanside on Saturday. Channing was having a blast watching Nolan and Josh surf and taking in all the sights. He is drawn to light and so a big bright beach made him all smiles!

He even got to rock his trunks and little beach hoodie.

Sandy toes means a great day!

5-7 Weeks

Shenley came to see us! Our dear friend from Hawaii is living in San Diego for the summer while her husband is interning at a law office. We met Shenley the same day that Josh and I met at the Lost premier in Honolulu, so she goes way back with us! :) She came up to see us and meet little Channing. It was so wonderful to spend time with her. She is very pregnant--due in October! We are so excited for their little addition to their family!

We found this little plumeria and it made us so happy! Reminded us of Hawaii.
Little Channing liked it too!

He is so much bigger in his car chair but still so cute and little!

Josh and I were cracking up as he looked like he was flexing his big muscles at us.

His big full tummy!
He likes it nice and full to put him to sleep.

We just love and can't kiss his little tiny fingers and toes enough!

We had a family outing and walked around the grounds of the New Port temple. It was a hot day! It was so beautiful to be that close to the temple.
It was Channing's first visit to the temple!

Thrush
For all of you soon to be mothers watch out for thrush in your infants. It stinks! We have been dealing with it for the past week and our poor little guy has a lot of discomfort because of it.

Thrush is a common infection that affects many newborns and younger children. It is caused by the Candida albicans yeast or fungus, a.k.a. yeast infection. To learn more about thrush you can google it or go to http://pediatrics.about.com/od/childhoodinfections/a/thrush.htm
