Maui for Jacob and Sarah's Wedding

Josh had to part from the Jeep, he was pretty sad...

This one is for Heidi: 'Ahhhhhhhhh! The Nene'!

This is the Nene! It was near extinct 10 years ago and now there are 300 birds. Heidi and Nolan have some pretty funny stories about these birds.

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L

It was so awesome!
Pictures do not do it justice.

It was so cold!!! It was 50 degrees up there! I was shaking!

It was got foggy as we drove up and then all the sudden we were above the clouds.

We decided to go Haleakala! It was awesome! It is a massive shield volcano that forms more than 75% of Maui. The drive up was so beautiful and green. The higher we got the more the landscape changed. I highly recommend it!

Thanks to Heidi and Nolan they told us about this awesome 'kitchen sink burrito'. It was awesome!

The newly weds getting ready to snorkel!

As soon as we sat down these crazy birds surrounded us. They knew we had food in the bag. They would get within inches of us.

Somewhere over the rainbow...

Just stunning.

The incredible sunset that evening after the wedding. I call this one 'heavenly beams'.

Hanging out on the beach.

Awe! So cute!

They had Hula pie as their wedding cake!! HUM! So delicious!

We went to lunch at Leilanis with them after, it was so good!

It was truly wonderful!

"You may now kiss the bride!"

I was really emotional during the ceremony. We are just so happy for them!!

They exchanged leis during the ceremony. It was really beautiful!

We were so honered to be at Jacob and Sarah's wedding! It was such a beautiful day. It started off with a rainbow and watching whales breaching from their balcony. Right off to the right was a turtle playing in the water during the ceremony.

The northern route of Maui is mostly one lane and cut out of the side of the mountain. It is breathe taking!

Again, the northern route of Maui, it is absolutely stunning!

Beautiful Maui!

The Valley is surrounded by a beautiful stream/river that was dammed up by bodies during the Kamehameha I battle.

After getting in we went straight to the Iao Needle. It was so beautiful! The Iao Valley is the site of one of the most famous battles that occurred in 1790. King Kamehameha I destroyed the Maui army in an effort to unite the Hawaiian Islands.

We got up at 5:30 in the morning to catch our 8:40 flight from Honolulu to Kahului Maui.

Job Hunting

Josh is working really hard on Grad School applications and I am trying to find a job. I was offered a job a Turtle Bay Resort. While I was faltered to be offered the position having to work Sundays was not okay with me. Having faith something better will come along I turned down the position. Tomorrow I am taking the US Census test along with our friend Michelle, she too is looking for a job. I think it would be a crappy job , walking house to house and having to interview people, but it pays $17 an hour. It is only temporary so I could do that. We will see how the test goes tomorrow! Pray for us as I am looking for a job.

God is so good to us, I know he will help us find something.

Christmas

Meet the twins! We got to meet and hold Abigayle and Isabella! They are so beautiful and perfect. It was so fun to hold them and hear their tiny little cries. They are such beautiful little babies!

Josh, as always, surrounded my the kids. They just love him so much!

Wherever there is 'Uncle Joshy', in the words of Aubrey, there next to him is Aubrey. She adores him! I get so jealous cause I just love her so stinkin' much!

We got to celebrate Owen's 1st birthday! It was so great! He loved eating his cake and getting it all over him!

Meet Bella and Tyler! Bella is Josh's sister Alyssa & her husband Ben's first baby. She is so sweet and just loves to look around. We got to see her learn how to roll over. She is such a little angel!
Tyler is Josh's brother Nathan & wife Jennifer's second little sweetie! He is such a beautiful little boy. He looks so much like his sister Katelynn.

Katelynn is getting so big! She is just all grown up now and is so polite! While we were there she got herself locked in the bathroom because she had put lotion on her hands and couldn't get the door open. Rather than screaming like the adverage 2 year old we could hear her, as we sat at the kitchen table, saying, "Excuse me!"

A new family photo! Starting from the top left is Ben, Josh, Me, Nathan holding Tyler, Jennifer holding Katelynn, Jarrod, Dad, Mom, and Alyssa. It was so wonderful spending time with the family and making more wonderful memories.

The girls!

My very best friend

We were so blessed and got to attend Tyler's baby blessing. It was wonderful to be part of such a special moment.

Joshua and Aubrey were Joseph and Mary on Christmas Eve. They acted out the story as my Dad read Christ's humble birth, shown below.

Little Owen is such a love! He got a hold of a chocolate covered pretzel and went crazy! It was so cute!
